Cecily Drey - Fremdsprachenassistentin

My name is Cecily and I am 20 years old. I am from London, and am studying at the University of Bristol in the Southwest of England. In Bristol, I study German and Russian, which is what brings me to Korneuburg. As part of my studies, I am required to spend a year in Austria and Russia in order to improve my language skills. Therefore, I will be at this school until February 2017.

So far, I have had a wonderful time in Austria, and have come to really love the place. The experiences I have had have been, on the whole, fantastic. The people of Korneuburg and Vienna have been kind and accommodating, which has come to give me a very good first impression of the country and its people. Since I arrived in Austria, in September, I have explored much of the city of Vienna; it has become one of my favourite cities.

It has been great working with the teachers and pupils of BHAK Korneuburg. The community here is close, and everyone here is nothing but friendly and helpful. I have really enjoyed getting to know the teachers and pupils, and feel lucky to have been placed at the school.
